Term Time is a national schools campaign for 11-16 year olds. We act not only as a point of contact and signpost to other appropriate resources but also as a platform for youngsters and schools alike to voice their opinions, share advice and discuss general issues teenagers face in the 21st century.
All the information Term Time provides is sourced from content young people require access to, and packaged in one place and in a user friendly way, to allow young people to make informed decisions regarding the issues they face.
Term Time ‘Newsdesk’ is a daily electronic news and information service, offering youngsters the latest news from both our vast array of publications and acclaimed media sources to bring balanced and unbiased news updated throughout the day.
Our aim is to provide a genuine platform for teenagers to contribute to our content and campaigns. We don’t listen to what other media outlets are saying, or even what the government says; we only listen to what people tell us through our website and during our tour events - Real children with real lives dealing with real issues. Through our forum and blog pages, we aim to discover the real issues that are affecting the youngsters of today, generating discussion is key to our objectives. We also aim to use our blog pages as advice pages whereby peers offer fellow peers help and advice.
The site is promoted to all secondary schools in the UK, as well as community youth groups and partnerships. We produce a series of publications which are distributed free of charge to secondary schools across the United Kingdom.
