“We have recently been working with our colleagues at Weinstein Williams on a project to highlight the benefits to school leavers of the funded Apprenticeship programmes Tyneside Training Services deliver, and also utilising their excellent Term Time website as a source of independent advice and guidance for the 14 to 19 year old age group on various subjects relevant to that particular age group. The friendly and professional support given from the WW team has led to a benefit to both ourselves and WW, but more importantly to our learners and those who may be considering apprentischips or training in other occupations.”
“...we have supported various good causes over the years, and the resultant feedback from the marketplace has been excellent. Using this form of publicity with Weinstein Williams is both cost-effective, and market-effective. Of course it gives us a warm feeling too...”
“The site (Term Time) looks very good and I will certainly add a link to it from our young people's site - D-World.”
“I have found the level of service excellent. The design ideas and the quality of the finished advertisement were superb”.
“I placed an advertisement in an emergency services publication through Weinstein Williams and I cannot praise Lisa in the design department enough. She managed to design an advertisement without any guidance whatsoever from myself, purely based on what she could gather from our website. Although I needed to make a few small amendments it made my job so much easier and all alterations were made promptly without any fuss.”
Working in a busy editorial department means that I have a varied and challenging job. The core responsibility of my role is to produce editorial content for ES News, including esnews.co.uk and our range of printed publications. This includes producing content for our daily online news feed and liaising with the emergency services to gather the latest stories from across the country. I also act as our 'roving reporter' and so am regularly required to go out, covering events as they happen.
A typical day in the ES News editorial department could involve a variety of tasks. Firstly, our website always needs to be updated with the latest news, so that's priority number one. Once the website is up to date, I might be heading out with the film crew to cover an event, or just hit the street to speak to members of the public and gather their views on the important issues of the day. Another important area of my work is building relationships with the emergency services and their partner organisations, so I regularly attend conferences and exhibitions to promote our publications, speak to frontline personnel and keep an eye out for interesting subjects to cover.
Working at Weinstein Williams has provided me with a working environment that is hard to come by. I feel both challenged and rewarded by my job and enjoy the creative freedom that my role permits. I am also fortunate in that I work with a supportive and talented team of people who know how to have fun while getting the job done.
To manage customer accounts. To liaise with customers and accounts departments, to arrange payment.
Every Monday Morning the whole company takes part in a work related quiz. This is a quiz based on our Products & Services and also our company websites. It’s a great way of keeping up to date with how our campaigns are going. It also provides us with the most up to date knowledge of our products to assist with any customer questions in order to provide them with the correct information. After the quiz we all have a meeting with the management team to make sure we are focussed for the week ahead! It’s on then to our own departments where I am allocated my workload for the week. I then plan out my working week and how I am going to achieve my targets set by my manager. I first check through my list of call backs and go through my emails. Dealing with any outstanding queries. It’s then responsibility to manage my client ledger for the rest of the day, ensuring that any information my customers require is provided quickly and efficiently.
Weinstein Williams has a great positive working environment. It is a fun place to work. I definitely see myself working at Weinstein Williams for the foreseeable future.
